I am going Snowboarding soon. What are some tips, things to remember when I go to the mountain?

It is my first time this season.

Wear the right clothes.
Your weight is in your toes. You are going to fall alot at first so don’t get discouraged. Turn with your hips.

Take a lesson. It will make your snowboarding fun much sooner that trying to learn it on your own.

mainly, don’t discouraged when you fall every 10 feet. watch other snowboarders when your on the lift, and try to do what they do.

if you take a lesson, and they teach you something called the leaf fall, dont get attached to it because it makes it harder to learn toeside turns.

wear a base layer and have decent gloves
make sure your wearing waterproof trouser/boarding pants

    get a lesson at least
remeber its all about weight distrabution don’t stay stiff on the board
    remeber to bend your legs

    a wee tip is

    stand up to speed up
    bend down to slow down

its what i tell people when there learning because it puts you in the right position too go onto an edge =]

also always goo with the fall don’t put your hands out to stop your self it is relli tempting but its the way to goo about breaking someting :D
