Surf or Snowboard- which is easier to learn and more affordable?
I really want to try to learn to surf or snowboard. I am not the most hand-eye coordinated but I have good endurance.Which would be easier to learn? Also, which one is more affordable?
Snowboarding is easier to learn in my opinion, you’re strapped in a board and you can’t fall off. You also aren’t riding a wave that you have to drop in on. Snowboarding takes a lot less endurance too. But surfing is pretty easy if you learn on a longboard so make sure you start out on one.
Surfing might be more affordable because all you need is a board. With snowboarding you need a board, bindings, boots, goggles, and all those winter clothes get really pricey.

i think both sports are equal in there own exhilarating way, I would have to say the more you learn something the better hand eye coordination and get better so don’t worry about that your bound to fall or loose balance really though both are a probable at the the same prices for equipment, just start searching around for each other prices online check craigslist see if people are selling surf boards or snowboards start searching for wetsuits, you know just search all around between them both and price everything out that way.

Surfing and snowboarding are actually quite similar to learn. But surfing is more affordable. All you need is access to a beach, whereas with snowboarding you constantly have to buy lift passes.
