i dunno about 4 …
i dunno about 4 times a week…. For races i all ways put on a new coat….after each ski practice…i cover my skies in a thick layer…and then before training i take it off… The less time my skies spend in open oxygen the better as the base can dry out… If you want to play with some fast stuff… go to a XC ski store….and look for the cheap florocarbon wax that is RUB ON! Use a rubbing cork rub it in…thats a cheap and very efficient way of getting a fast board!

i do it 6 times a week…but thats cuz i race….seriously a good wax job will make your skies faster than you can imagine… to put that in perspective…..on the steepest part of whistler…. My 800$ multiply layer 100% florocarbon wax got going 0-100 in a little under 4.5 seconds
