Burton Women’s Lexa EST Snowboard Bindings Purple S

Burton Women's Lexa EST Snowboard Bindings Purple S

In 2003 the Burton Lexa was the first female-specific binding on the market. While other snowboard binding manufacturers sweep their initial attempts under their carpets, Burton continues to polish and refine this popular jewel–and now the Lexa EST is ready for infinite stance possibilities on Burton’s new line of snowboards with The Channel binding interface. The Lexa EST is responsive and sensitive enough to please all-mountain advanced riders, but it’s also comfortable and plush enough to ride all day and into the evening. We like the new removable SensoryBED II cushioning system because it helps absorb shock from landing impacts without taking away the sensitivity every experienced rider counts on in varied terrain and snow conditions. The big difference between the established SensoryBED and this new SensoryBED II is that the SensoryBED had only B3 Gel in the heel, while the SensoryBED II features B3 Gel in the toes and heels. This extra cushion in front and back is ideal aggressive female riders who look for big air and perfect landings. Okay, we ALL look for perfect landings, but no matter how you land–assuming that it is on your board–you’ll appreciate the extra cushion in the front and back. Like seasons past, the Lexa EST has a short glass fiber/nylon composite baseplate that’s stiffer than Burton’s intermediate-level Stiletto, so you enjoy more response and improved performance. A QuikFLAD adjustment on the back of the lightweight, dual-component, canted living Hinge Hi-Back lets you dial in your heel-edge response to match your terrain and all-mountain attitude. The adjustable SuperStrap across the ankle and Ultra Capstrap across the toe have Burton’s 3D ergonomic curve for an easily adjustable and comfortable fit that keeps your boot in place throughout the day. Remember that unlike the traditional Lexa binding, the Lexa EST is developed exclusively for Burton snowboards with The Channel binding interface built in to the snowboard. Be sure that you

2010 Burton The Hero – 158

2010 Burton The Hero - 158

Sierra Says: After making an awesome first-impression last year as a late release model, the Hero enters its sophomore season as a must-have item for any freestyle enthusiast. Equipped with Burton's exclusive V-Rocker and a softer flex pattern, this board is a blast on any park feature. Any intermediate or advanced rider will appreciate the Hero's playfulness in the park and its effortless carving-ability around the resort. Burton Says: The Hero will change you forever. It will make you do things, bad things, nasty tricks that you thought were impossible. Its secret is a three stage rocker design that adds buttery Scoop tips and vice-like grip of Pressure Distribution Edges to an already ridiculously forgiving and nimble package. Slash pow, smoke the pipe, lock into rails, and uncork tricks that you never considered trying- this board is like a bike pump for your balls. Burton Blender Womens

Burton Blender Womens

Sierra Says: The Blender is a park-specific twin with a skate-influenced design. You thought your old beater was fun? This board is an absolute blast thanks to its softer flex, Park Scoops, and new Party Rocker. Pick up a blender and butter your heart out. Burton Says: One taste is all it takes to understand why Gabi Viteri shreds nothing but the Blender. The NEW Party Rocker lifts the tip and tail contact points for a catch-free, skate-style feel. Edges come detuned and Rail Ready, while the spoon-shaped Scoop tips let you style out sketchy situations. We even added the Channel so you can rock whatever stance your twisted heart desires.

is a Burton Supermodel X a good board for intermediate riders?

I think I have outgrown my beginner Burton Cruzer (3 years) and am looking for a new board. I don’t hit the park and as a longboard surfer, like to carve down groomed runs. The Supermodel X sounds great but I don’t want too much board for me to handle.

If you are intermediate level then the supermodel X should be ok for you. Its an Advanced board but is not too hard to ride compared to some other top end freeride boards. Good luck with the riding.
